The availability of an item on the website does not guarantee that it is in stock. Any product related information (except where clearly stated as 'our opinion') has been supplied by a manufacturer or supplier and does not necessarily represent the opinion of Big Fish Tackle Store.
Price Changes
We may alter prices at any time. We try our best to keep price changes to a minimum but sometimes it is inevitable. We will aim to update the web site as soon as possible, but may not be able to make the changes immediately. If the price of an item you have ordered has increased we will contact you before charging the additional amount.
Pricing Policy
All products on bigfishtackleshop.co.uk are priced in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate. For orders being dispatched to countries outside the European Union we will deduct VAT from relevant items.
PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE POLICY
Big Fish will always try to provide the best price match possible on all of our products however it is not always feasible and we do reserve the right to refuse any price match request if we deem it to be unfeasible in any way. It is subject to the competitor having the product in stock and the product being a current item. Excludes ebay and all auction sites along with classified and online market place type advertising. It also excludes postage charges unless otherwise indicated and must be from a supplier in the UK with physical retail premises.
How to Order
Orders may be placed by phone or online. We also have a great store you can visit and take advice from the staff as you shop.
Payment Methods
You can pay by Visa, Amex, Mastercard, Maestro/Switch, Solo, Electron, Google Checkout or PAYPAL online. For other methods of ordering we also accept cheques, cash, postal orders or our own gift vouchers. Cash is acceptable only if posted via a registered service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK. We are unable to accept 'Swipe Only' cards unless you are making a purchase in the shop.
Card Security
Big Fish have deliberately chosen a proprietary shopping cart system (SAGEPAY Formerly PROTX) that keeps your credit/debit card information in a secure environment at all times. When you complete your card details on screen you are entering them directly into storage on a secure server. Your entry of that information is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. We then obtain your order information, by accessing the secure server directly. We then delete the order information completely. Your card information never exists outside a secure environment, for example in the form of an email or Print out. Several of the UKs largest fishing mail order companies print your Card information….you should ask before you buy online as this practice is illegal.
During the online checkout process the card holder's name and address must be provided in the 'Billing Information' and 'Credit/Debit Card Information' fields exactly as they are written on the statement. The same applies to the card holder's name and address supplied via any other order method.
CARD FRAUD IS ILLEGAL AND WE WILL PROSECUTE
For customers paying by credit or debit card, it is our policy to send your first order to the address that the card is registered to. This is to make sure we adhere to Credit Card Company regulations to protect you and us from fraud.
When will you be charged?
We process order payment securely Online. Your card will be only be debited once we have checked stock to deliver your order. Should any products be unavailable we will call you first to check how you wish to proceed and will only charge you for products which are being sent.
Out of Stock Items
If any item you have ordered is not available straightaway for any reason we will automatically place the out of stock item on our back order system, which means that the day it is delivered to us it will be sent to you. If you would rather we deleted unavailable items from your order or substituted them, please indicate your preference when you order. The website checkout process provides the facility to do this.
Resale
Goods purchased from Big Fish Tackle Store may not be used for resale.
